Youth Educator Program at Risk!

Volunteers are needed for next year to continue the Youth Educator Program now being delivered in the 8th grade Classrooms by our participating Northgate Juniors and Seniors. With regret, the three volunteer adult facilitators helping to implement this program at Northgate and Foothill will be unable to continue it next year because of personal schedule demands. However, they are willing to work with any interested parents to ensure a smooth handover. This program is the perfect transition for the PEP and Smart Start trained parent base - and parents from both schools are being encouraged to consider getting involved.

This program is a win-win for both our 8th graders at Foothill as well as our Juniors & Seniors at Northgate who give their time to mentor them. If you are interested, we invite you to come to one of our Monday night meetings being held from 6:30-8:30pm in the Northgate library and get acquainted with this great program and fantastic group of Northgate students!

Please contact either Linda Law or Audrey Slaughter if you are interested in helping to continue this beloved community program or would like to find out more about it.

Education Fund Honor Roll for 2013-2014

Click here to see who has donated this year

Make sure your name is on the 2013-2014 Honor Roll
Contribution Form or NG PFC Webstore

The recommended donation for the 2013-14 school year is $300 or more per child. However, our goal is to have 100% participation from our Northgate families, regardless of the dollar amount of the donation. No amount is too small and every dollar makes a difference for our school. The Education Fund is currently $25,000 behind its budget goal and now more than ever, we need the support of every family so that we can provide our children with the quality educational experience they need and deserve.

Please contact Karen Cramer or Cathy Escobar by email for further information about the Northgate Education Fund.
